Such a slacker....

I am such a blogging slacker!! I haven't posted in so long. I will not try to cover too much in this post. Doug and I are gearing up for the holiday rush. It never seems to relaxing because we are run run running everywhere! Hopefully we'll get a night together to exchange our gifts. Doug has his gift for me under the tree and I am so perplexed. I have no idea what it could be. He is teasing me incessantly about it and sometimes will almost give in and let me open it. I have no idea what it could be!! When I find out....I'll let you know :)!

Disappointing...

So CF lost the title game Friday night. It was a pretty rough game. We are disappointed but have to remember that they had a very successful season. I need to pics posted because Doug did get his mohawk. The guys did it and then I fixed it up :)! It needed a little extra TLC.

Though we'll miss going to games, it is a relief to have Doug back for a little while. He has 6 weeks before his next coaching season starts. We'll have lots of time to relax and enjoy the holiday season. I cannot believe Christmas is coming so fast!!!

GO TIGERS!!!

Cedar Falls played in the semis last night and beat the only team that had beaten them. It was amazing!!! It was one of the greatest high school games I have ever watched! This group of boys are the ones who deserve it....they have true passion about the game and are an individual team not a team of individuals. Now they play unbeaten Valley Friday night....here we go again!!!

Here's the finished product!!! With the help of my dad we finally got the shutters up and have completed our home transformation! It's so fun to drive by...it just doesn't even look like the same house. It makes such a difference!!

Lack of posts...

Well, I haven't posted lately. We don't have a whole lot of news. Doug finally finished football which is a huge relief. He is helping with the varsity playoffs but it's a little less crazy! I am about to dive head first into research. I really want to graduate in May and I have a lot of work to do!!! It's snowing here tonight so we're getting a little glimpse of winter. It looks pretty but I probably won't be saying that in a few months!! Our house is almost done with the final touches outside. I'll get some pictures posted as soon as I can. I just finished an amazing weekend with my mom and sisters. It's so much fun to just hang out with them!!!

The beginning....

So after much deliberation, we (and by we I mean me) have decided to enter the world of blogging. Doug isn't a big fan of blogging but he'll come around :) With friends and family all over we thought it would be a good way to keep these people up on the happenings in our life. Not everyone is on Facebook you know! Hopefully we will soon post some pics, get some more posts up, and maybe, just maybe, I'll get Doug to try it out....you never know!
