New look...

Trying out some new backgrounds and such....I'm sure it will be changing periodically!!! This blogging thing can be fun at times :)

Not much going on here. We just got back from a wonderful, long weekend with my family at Lake Rathbun. We had so much fun and I really miss my nieces and nephews!! I'm sure my sisters will give them to me for a few days if I need! Doug and I are gearing up for football and school to start. I am teaching summer school for another week and a half and then have a little time. I'm taking a trip to Vegas with my mom. She is a brave woman to take a pregnant lady to Vegas :)

We are patiently waiting the arrival of our rocker for the nursery and finishing up the registry. I was very disappointed with the selection of strollers at Target and found the one I wanted online. I'm going with it. LP moves around all the time...she kicks like crazy and can often move my belly. It's fun to watch! Doug says she'll be a soccer player!

My new car is wonderful....we're having fun with it. We took it to the NEW TARGET today to test out the trunk space. It fit our groceries wonderfully.

Big purchase....

and it's not even baby related!!! Well, not entirely. Doug and I knew we were getting to the point where we'd need to start looking at vehicles. His truck is a gas guzzler and though we love it, we thought we should get something a little more efficient....and safer. We went to just look the other night and ended up buying. A deal we couldn't resist. Thank you Cash-for-Clunkers!!! So I got a new car for my birthday! I keep telling Doug it's the best gift he could have given me ;) Meet my new car....I'm sure I'll name it in time!

The nursery continues...

Doug and I put up the pom poms I made for the nursery. Next, adding in the japanese lanterns...but that will be another night :)

Before and after pictures to come soon...I am so excited!!! This afternoon Doug and I are putting the nursery furniture together. Or at least we'll attempt one piece. We'll see how that goes. I just cannot wait to clear out the spare room. You should see the mess we have going in there!!! Maybe I'll document pictures of that too!
