That time of year!

BUSY BUSY BUSY!!! That's all I can say. Football season and basketball season are just crazy in our house! Doug and I are going in every direction...but we love it! Doug had his first ball game this week and they won...big! It was fun to watch. It's so different than watching football...and the kids are so little! I also got to go watch my nephew Mitch play YMCA ball this weekend. So much fun! He did so great! They were much better than I thought they would be :)! Hard to believe February is just around the corner....hopefully that means warm weather is on the horizon! I need to convince Doug to go on another trip to the Caribbean....maybe this summer. Wouldn't that be wonderful?! It would be better to go next week :)

Snow, Snow, Go Away!!

So Doug and I are in the midst of a six day weekend. Yes...you heard me correctly...six days. We had a snow day Wednesday, and cold days today and yesterday. Now it's the weekend and we have MLK day off. We're feeling a little worthless because we really haven't left the house much. I take that back. We went to Allison and put together a treadmill and set up a Wii. We were definitely productive! We have a weekend full of fun planned so the weather better cooperate!!!

Need to keep up....

I haven't been keeping up with this blog like I told myself I would. It's been crazy around here...and by crazy I mean Doug and I spent Christmas break doing nothing but relaxing and having fun with family and friends. It was a much needed release!! Now we're back into the swing of things. Doug is coaching b-ball, I start class again next week.....the countdown to spring break is on!!

For Christmas, we became technologically savvy! We got a new laptop, a new camera, and a Wii! Plus, I just did my first sewing project! A couple quilt squares for a group I'm in. Thanks to my mom for saving the day and showing me what I had to do to get the sewing machine to actually work....and for showing me how to actually sew!
